03 — About

A workshop,
a launch pad.

Fish Island Circus is a circus & aerial rehearsal and training space in a converted old peanut factory in Hackney Wick, East London. Three high-ceilinged spaces, all rigged for aerial, used by circus artists from across the city.

The space

Three high-ceilinged spaces — Front, Mid, Back — all rigged for aerial. Marley floors, sprung where it makes sense, lunge points in Back. We host members training daily plus scratch nights, residencies, and rehearsal creations.

The vibe

Self-directed training. Respect the space and the people you share it with. Come and train, leave it the way you found it, and ask anyone if you’re not sure.

04 — Rates

Per session.
Per person.

A session is 1–4 hours. Pay at booking; sessions are confirmed by us before they’re locked in. Aerial adds a one-time £10 rigging-point hire on top of the per-person price. Teacher rate is per space per hour — regardless of headcount.

Ground training
£8/session/person

Any section, any duration up to 4 hours. Floor work, hand balance, tumbling, partnering — anything that doesn’t need the rig.

Aerial
£8/session/person

+ £10 rigging-point hire — per point, shared by everyone using it. Back Space also has a lunge for spotting acrobatics (experienced users only).

Teacher
£12/space/hour

For teachers running sessions with their own students. Charged per space, per hour — regardless of headcount. Full space (Front + Mid + Back) for 1.5h = £54.
